The Koori Resource & Information Centre (KRIC) was established in 1988 to provide information and support to a range of local Koori organisations and programs that shared a common vision.

KRIC's main activities focus on 4 areas:

 1. Generating new ways of looking at issues and promoting community discussion

 2. Creating and running new community projects

 3. Acting as a Hub to nurture and incubate local Indigenous organisations

 4. Promote networking within the local community and to provide a bridge to the wider Indigenous and mainstream communities

 

Housed within KRIC are the following groups:·

 The GV Koori Women’s Resource Group·

 The GV Koori Media Group ·

 First Nations Foundation (www.fnf.org.au)·

 Indigenous Enterprise Partnerships (www.iep.net.au)

 

Current KRIC projects are:·

  The Koori Library Pathways Project in partnership with the Goulburn Valley Regional Library Corporation (www.gvrl.vic.gov.au)

 

KRIC currently provides administration support to:·

 Yachad Accelerated Learning Project (www.yalp.org.au)
